Q: What are your wedding packages?

A: For detailed information on wedding packages as well as beach portraits and other things please visit the "Pricing" page as it will always have the most up-to-date pricing and product availability. Please keep in mind that you are NOT limited to a package. Feel free to contact me if you would like to do something different.

Q: How many photos will you take at our wedding?

A: Generally, the amount of photos taken will vary greatly depending on the diversity and amount of subjects & environments. I will continue to take photos through the entire duration of my stay.

After editing, a typical wedding will often exceed 500 images. I will not limit you to a specific amount of photos. Meaning if there are 800 worthy photos than they will be made available to you.
Rest assured, should you have a typical wedding you will have several hundred images from which to choose.

Q: What's a digital proof album?

A: Shooting hundreds of images for a special occasion can quickly make printing and displaying 4"x6" proof images in a standard album costly, not to mention it would take a rather large album... hence, the digital proof album. It's printed on true photographic paper and contains 9 images per page. This will then be loosely bound into a 8.5"x11" album and depending on what you have ordered, may be in a leather album from Leather Album Designs.

Q: How long will it take to receive the digital proof album from my wedding?

A:
About 3 weeks. It takes several days to review and organize the images and to send them out to be printed and a few days until they come back from the lab. I then organize, personalize and bind them and then get them out to you a few days later.

Q: How do I view the CD's of proof images?

A: The proof disks you will be given are designed to automatically run on most Windows based computers. If it does not, you must select your disk-drive and then select the "Slideshow" file. Your slideshow will then start. The slideshow will repeat until you end it. These slideshows will not run on a "Mac". If you run a "MAC" and need another type of slideshow format be sure to contact me. If you wish, you may view a short, low resolution sample of the type of slideshow you will be able to view on your PC. See the below link.

Please note: If you see any security warnings about opening this type of file, rest assured it is safe as I created it myself. Simply click "Run" or "continue"... whichever your particular choice is. You may also save it to your "Desktop" or wherever you prefer and run it from there as well.

Q: May I scan some of your photos and use them for a project I'm doing?

A: Only if you have purchased a license from me to do so. Most honorable photo printers will refuse to reproduce professional photos without a release form signed by the photographer. If you have any questions on this please be sure to ask.

It is my plan to keep them indefinitely as long as long as practicality and technology allow. Presently, all images are backed up, backed up again and then stored in a bank vault for safety and security.

A:
Yes, I have multiple flash units, cameras, memory, etc... In case of a rare problem your covered.

Q: Do you have a particular style?

A: Yes, it is photojournalistic.

Q: What is Photojournalistic?

A:
When shopping for a photographer you will likely here many different ideas of what this means but basically, a "photojournalistic" photographer will take photos similar to the way a magazine photographer will cover a special event by capturing special or important moments as they occur. This differs slightly with a traditional photographer who will generally take more posed shots.

It can be said that a Photojournalist will attempt to capture the image and a traditional Photographer will attempt to create the image. While many traditional photographers are in the midst of it all and take great candid's and many photojournalists take great formal shots, it is generally based on what type of photos their portfolios mainly contain.

Q: How do you print your images?

A:
All of my work is sent out to top labs in the country which deal only with professional photographers. Their work is superb and their turnaround time is fast. Through them I offer prints from wallets to 30"x45". Other types of products are available see the "Pricing" page for more information.

Q: Can I get any black and white images as well as color?

A:
Yes, all photos can easily be converted.

Q: Can you apply any artistic effects to an image?

A:
Yes. However, I tend to limit it to a few types of effects such as soft focusing, selective coloring, water coloring, and a few others as I feel many of the effects available simply do not look professional. If you are desiring something like this, please keep in mind that only select photos qualify for these effects. Professional results may also take a significant amount of PC time which may add to the price.

Q: I would like to hire you. what's the next step?

A:
Simply contact me and I'll get you set up! Generally, we first discuss what you would like. If it is for an event such as a wedding I generate a contract for your review. You will sign it and send in your deposit. When that happens, your date and time are reserved.

Q: I still have questions and I am unsure of some things... what should I do?

A:
I would expect you to call me. My number is 609-645-7197 and also can be found in the "Contact info" page.
